Knock Pilgrimage 2026

On Saturday, 27th June, members and friends of the Vocations Society of St. Joseph gathered at Knock Shrine for our Annual Pilgrimage. It was a wonderful day of prayer and reflection as we joined together to pray for vocations.

The ceremonies began at 2pm with the Outdoor Stations of the Cross and Rosary Procession. Following this, Holy Mass took place at 3pm in Knock Basilica. We were particularly blessed to have Bishop of Cork & Ross, Bishop Fintan Gavin, as our Chief Celebrant and Homilist.

During Mass, the Sacrament of the Sick was administered by Bishop Brendan Kelly, Retired Bishop of Galway.

Sincere thanks to everyone who traveled to be with us, those who helped organise the day, and all who continue to support the work of the Society through prayer.

Dublin Provincial Congress 2026 – Maynooth

Under the theme Mary, Mother of the Church, the Dublin Provincial Congress took place at Maynooth Seminary in May, a perfect setting for our work together.

Organised by Dublin Provincial President Padraig O’Brien, we were blessed to welcome Bishop Paul Dempsey and Fr. Chris Hayden as our guest speakers, both of whom inspired us to reflect more deeply on our theme and our shared devotion to Mary, our Mother.

Sincere thanks go to the seminarians who kindly gave up their time to look after us throughout the day and join us for lunch (even when they should have been studying!), giving us a wonderful opportunity to get to know them and support them in prayer.

The Rector, Dr. Tomás Surlis, joined us for Holy Mass, which was celebrated by Fr. Chris to bring a wonderful gathering to a close. We now look forward to the upcoming congresses in Cashel, Armagh, and Tuam later in the year!

Upcoming Provincial Congresses:
Cashel – 5th September
Armagh – 26th September
Tuam to be arranged
